Hapuna Beach State Recreation Area
This landscaped beach park is located on Highway 19 (Queen Ka'ahumanu Highway) and features a long stretch of white sand. Visitors can go swimming or snorkeling. Restrooms, showers, picnic pavilions, a snack bar and parking are all available.

Holoholokai Beach Park
This beach is located behind the Fairmont Orchid at Mauna Lani on 1 North Kaniku Drive but is not part of the hotel. There is more rock than sand at this beach and it is ideal for hiking, picnicking and looking for shells but is not ideal for swimming. Restrooms, parking and picnic tables are available. Pets and camping are not allowed.

Kauna`oa Bay
This beach is a peaceful crescent of soft white sand and crystalline blue waters. Find Kauna`oa Bay along Highway 19 just north of Hapuna beach. This beach is great for sunbathing, swimming and snorkeling. Public restrooms and showers are available.
